THEME parks and diversification - Although my expectations were not high about Resorts World Sentosa, I decided to give it a try upon returning to Singapore. It was a pleasant surprise for someone who is used to the Macau-style resort. Looking at the resorts that are being incessantly built here during these last years, I can only think about that old saying: “More of the same.”  OK, I acknowledge that some are more stylish, or have a slightly different approach. But they are all gaming centered, with the hotels and the luxury stores to support the main business. And I don’t blame the gaming operators for that.
